LEWISTOWN - Day-to-day operations of the County Observer will move to the offices of The Sentinel, located at the corner of Sixth Street and Summit Drive, in the Pleasant Acres section of Lewistown, effective Dec. 3.
The County Observer office in the Dairyland Complex, Reedsville, will officially close Nov. 30. The building has been scheduled for sale and possible demolition in the spring of 2013 and all tenants are required to vacate by the end of the year.
Until further notice, all mail can still be sent to P.O. Box 575, Reedsville, PA 17084. Calls to the Observer's 667-1113 telephone line will be forwarded to The Sentinel office. Callers are also encouraged to contact The Sentinel office directly at 248-6741.
Help with subscriptions, advertising and other routine business will be handled by The Sentinel's business office.
