LEWISTOWN - Margaret Louise "Peggy" Smith, 81, of Lewistown, died at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Golden Living Center William Penn.
Born Aug. 3, 1931, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Orval P. and Louise M. (Fisher) Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert A. and Donald F. Smith.
She is survived by: sister, Betty Shilling and husband, Dick, of Lewistown; four nieces; one nephew; and a number of great- nieces and nephews.
Earlier in life, she worked at Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
