MIFFLINTOWN Robbery charges were formally filed in district court on Monday morning against a McAlisterville man suspected of robbing three banks in the last 30 days.
Richard L. Lockett, 38, was arraigned at Magisterial District Judge Barb Lyter's office and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $300,000 bail. He is tentatively scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on November 28. Reporters are working on a story for Tuesday's edition of the Sentinel.
