MILROY - William Randolph "Randy" Barnes, 64, of 98 Creek Drive, Milroy, went to be with the Lord at 10:38 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the Lewistown Hospital.
Born Feb. 26, 1948, in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Aaron and Zelda (Dietch) Barnes. Randy is survived by his wife, Deborah J. (Smeltzer) (Kauffman) Barnes, whom he married on Feb. 8, 2003.
Also surviving are: stepchildren, Christian C. Kauffman and his wife, Colleen Watts, of Philadelphia, and Misty E. Kauffman and her husband, Adam Rung, of Philadelphia; and grandchildren, June Watts-Kauffman and Calder Kauffman-Rung.

He was a 1966 graduate of Carlisle High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Catawba College in 1970.
Randy owned and operated a paint store in Chambersburg and sold paint supplies for Hamilton Supply. He later worked at Bohn Funeral Home.
He was President of the Milroy Lions Club and Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy. He was also an elder and member of Milroy White Memorial Church.
He was an avid golfer, a Penn State sports fan, loved yard work and enjoyed gardening and his cats.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at White Memorial Church, 68 S. Main St., Milroy, with the Rev. Dr. James Barnes officiating.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday, at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the White Memorial Church.
