GAP - Earl R. Graybill, 85, formerly of Gap, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Landis Homes, following a brief illness.
Born in Richfield, he was a son of the late J. Roy and Mary E. (Ferster) Graybill. He was the husband of Miriam King Graybill, with whom he would have celebrated 61 years of marriage on Nov. 22.
He was ordained as Pastor of the Coatesville Mennonite Church in 1955 and retired in 1994.

Earl was a farmer in the Parkesburg area and had also worked for Lanchester Gas, of Gap. He enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are: three children, Rebecca "Becky," wife of Richard Landis, of Manheim, James, husband of Donna Denlinger Graybill, of Gap, and Richard "Rick" Graybill, of Lancaster; three siblings, Kathryn Good, of Richfield, Wilma Kauffman, of Mifflintown, and Clayton Graybill, of Richfield; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four siblings, Harold, Glen, Elvin and Maybell Graybill.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the Millwood Mennonite Church, 441 Amish Road, Gap, with Pastor Leonard Groff and Chaplain Jim Leaman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Landis Homes East Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the Graybill family asked that a random act of kindness be done in Earl's memory.
