April Burgess, of Gettysburg, and Christopher Bender, of York, are engaged to be married on June 22, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church in Lewistown.
She is the daughter of Doug and Linda Burgess, of Hallstead. She is a graduate of Montrose High School and is employed as a first grade teacher at Fairfield Elementary School.
He is the son of Rick and Kay Bender, of Lewistown. He is a graduaate of Indian Valley High School and is employed as an assistant superintendent at Springwood Golf Course, York.
