Natalie Maxwell, of McVeytown, and Nathan Powell, of Granville, were married on Sept. 15, 2012, at the Lewistown CMA Church.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Peggy Maxwell of McVeytown. The groom is the son of Jim Powell and wife Pam, of Granville, and Mark and Jana Ganoe, of Ocracoke N.C.

Dan Howard, of Lewistown was the best man.

Bridesmaids were: Melissa Maxwell, sister of the bride; Kimberly Kauffman, sister of the bride; Courtney Narehood, cousin of the bride; Haley Zong; Nicole McClure; Chelsea Shepherd, cousin of the bride; Morgan Narehood, cousin of the bride; and Lauren Powell, sister of the groom.

The flower girl was Ava Narehood, cousin of the bride.

Groomsmen were: Nick Fishter, Cory Carvalho, Ty Angney, Jared Shepherd, Dylan Kelly, and Justin Kauffman, brother-in-law of the bride.

Ushers were Nicholas Knable, Matthew Narehood, Alex Moore and Ryan Moore.

The ring bearer was Gatlin Kauffman, nephew of the bride.

Pastor John Looney performed the ceremony that also include Mandy Maxwell as soloist.

A reception followed at the Rec Park Community Center in Lewistown.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Shippensburg University. She is employed as a first grade teacher for the Mifflin County School District.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 2010 graduate of Shippensburg University. He is employed as an insurance agent for Brandon Aumiller and Associates.
