LEWISTOWN - Charges have been filed against a Milroy man in connection with the death of Dustin Mountz.

At about 10:30 p.m. on July 31, the body of Mountz, 31, who had been reported as a missing person to Granville Police, was found in the back seat of a vehicle parked in the Giant parking lot in Lewistown.

Lewistown Borough Police said Friday that a three month investigation into Mountz's death led to charges and a warrant being filed Thursday against Bruce Alan Goss, 42, of Milroy.

Police said Goss was charged with recklessly endangering another person, unauthorized use of a vehicle and making a false report to law enforcement.

Police said they attempted to locate Goss and place him in a national law enforcement wanted database.

On Friday, Lower Allen Township Police Department stopped Goss on a traffic violation and discovered the warrant from Lewistown Police and arrested him.

Police said Goss was brought back to Mifflin County and was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Aaron Gingrich and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
