LEWISTOWN - Christopher R. Purcell, 28, of 617 Highland Ave., Lewistown, died at 11:38 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, as a result of a motor vehicle accident, in Lewistown.
Born August 23, 1984, in Lewistown, he was the son of Richard Purcell Jr. and Robin (Hower) Purcell, of Reedsville.
Christopher is survived by his fiancee, Kendra Cavanaugh, of Lewistown, and her parents, Stephanie and Douglas Logan, of Burnham.

He is also survived by: his son, Cameron Purcell, of Lewistown; his brother, Matthew Purcell and his wife, Jessica, of Everett, Wash.; paternal grandparents, Richard Purcell Sr. and his wife, Sally, of Troy, N.Y.; and a number of aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucy Hartley, and a nephew, Tristen Purcell.
He attended Indian Valley High School and was last employed at Pennsylvania Insulating Glass.
Christopher was a loving father, fiance, son and brother. He enjoyed reading, music and loved spending time with family and friends.
His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., with Pastor Laura Kyler officiating.
Interment will be held in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
