-Milroy Branch Library will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30, due to lack of staff.
-Mifflin County School District will be closed on Tuesday, October 30, and will be running on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
-Juniata County School District will be closed on Tuesday, October 30, and will be running on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
-Sacred Heart School will be closed on Tuesday, October 30, and will be running on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Oct. 31
-Greenwood schools are closed Tuesday, Oct 30.
-The Mount Union Area School District will be closed Tuesday, October 30th. All activities and meetings cancelled for Tuesday, October 30th.
-Belleville Mennonite School will be closed on Tuesday, October 30, and will be running on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
-District Tournament sports events have been cancelled for Tuesday. An updated schedule will appear in Tuesday's print edition.
-The West Beaver Elementary School public sale has been postponed until further notice. Mount Union Area School District's regularly scheduled Board meeting, postponed until Thursday, November 1st.
- The Juniata Valley Bank in WalMart will close at 5 p.m. today and all Juniata Valley Banks will have a delayed opening until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
- Park's Garbage Service will not be running trash or recycling collection routes on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- The emergency operation center in Beavertown will be in the Borough Building as long as there is electrical power, it will be moved to the Rescue Hose Company Fire Hall if the power goes out. Individuals that need assistance should call 658-2482 or if the power is out 658-7147. Callers are reminded to stay on the line even for extended periods of rings until answered.
-The Midd-West School District will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
-The concert at the Yeagertown Senior Center has been canceled on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
