STATE COLLEGE - Kathleen Marie McKinley, 47, of State College, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Centre Crest.
Born April 21, 1965, in Chicago, Ill., she was a daughter of John D. and Jane McKinley, of State College, and Billie and Vince Mazza, of Burnham.
Kathleen was a member of the State College Assembly of God. She wrote and published a children's book "Barnabas Barnheart, the Bumble Bee."
She loved music and singing, especially gospel music.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by: two brothers, Brian J. and Kevin A. McKinley; two sisters, Jackie L. Treaster and Carol (Ron) Fultz; and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the State College Assembly of God, 2201 University Drive Ext., State College.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the church, with the Revs. Harry Brotzman Jr. and Samuel Strohm officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
