Mary Joanna ‘Judy’ Sebolt

MILROY - Mary Joanna "Judy" Sebolt, 77, of Milroy, formerly of Burnham, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at her residence.

She was born April 27, 1935, in Granville, the daughter of the late John and Priscilla (Brought) Druckemiller. Her loving husband, Albert "Dick" Sebolt, whom she married on Aug. 16, 1954, preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2007. Her daughter, Deborah J. Henry passed in April 2009.

Judy is survived by: her daughter, Kelly J. (Sebolt) Rogers and her husband, Scott, of York Springs; son-in-law, Timothy Henry and his wife, Lona, of McAlisterville; brother, Charles Druckemiller, who resides in Alabama.; five grandchildren, Michael, Jeremy, Jason, Christopher and Cameron; and four great-grandchildren, Nakita, Katelynn, Timmy and Alexia.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Jensen and Sara Michael, and a brother, Pete Druckemiller, all of Lewistown.

Mary was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She had a wonderful smile, had the most beautiful sparkling blue eyes, and made the best chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church, in Lewistown. She was a supporter of breast cancer awareness, the Humane Society, the SPCA and the American Diabetes Association.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Barr Funeral Home Inc., 120 Logan St., Lewistown. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m Friday, Oct. 12, at the Barr Funeral Home, with Salvation Army Retired Majors Paul and Susie Mackneer officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
