McALISTERVILLE - Anthony S. "Tony" Barth, 47, of McAlisterville, died on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Route 35, in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.
Born on Oct. 7, 1964, in Derry Township, Mifflin County, he was the son of Paul F. Barth, of McAlisterville, and Loretta S. (Shellenberger) Roush and her husband, Richard, of Mifflintown. On Nov. 19, 2006, his companion of more than 15 years, Diane L. Beaver, preceded him in death.
In addition to his father, mother and stepfather, he is survived by: his daughter Kelsey Jo Barth, of Lewistown; sister, Cheryl Barth, of Mifflintown; and his maternal grandmother, Blanche Shellenberger, of Mifflintown.

Mr. Barth was a 1982 graduate of East Juniata High School, Cocolamus, a member of the Lost Creek Golf Course and the American Legion Post 364, Liverpool.
In earlier life, he worked as part of the grounds maintenance crew at the Lost Creek Golf Course, Oakland Mills, then worked for Triangle Pacific Cabinet Corp., Thompsontown, and was most recently employed as a cabinet framer for Tedd Wood, Inc., East Salem.
Tony spent countless hours playing golf or shooting pool and was a New York Jets football fan. His greatest joy came from spending time with his daughter, Kelsey.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc, 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville, with the Rev. Graham Fowler officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Barth's memory to the American Cancer Society, 324 S Logan Blvd, Suite B, Burnham, PA 17009.
