Teresa Berkey, of Lewistown, and Anthony Paravati, of Pittsburgh, were married on May 12, 2012, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown.
The bride is the daughter of Jane and Dennis Berkey, of Lewistown. The groom is the son of Deborah and Anthony Paravati, of Pittsburgh.
The Rev. William Weary performed the ceremony.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in education, and is employed as a teacher at Audeo Charter School in San Diego, Calif.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School in Pittsburgh. He is a 2006 graduate of Allegheny College and a 2012 graduate of Dartmouth Medical School and Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. He is a resident physician at the University of California, San Diego.
