Police: Area woman had LSD inside her vehicle

Drugs discovered during traffic stop Tuesday night in Mount Union

MOUNT UNION - A woman was arrested for possession of lysergic acid diethylamide, also known as LSD or "acid," Mount Union Police Department reports.

Police said they conducted a traffic stop around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Wrangletown Road and East Shirley Street after a concerned citizen informed police that a vehicle contained controlled substances.

Police said after the stop they arrested Elaina Marie Orner, 24, of Fleming, and seized approximately $1,300 worth of LSD, an undisclosed amount of money and the vehicle.

According to the report Orner is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and corruption of minors.

Mount Union Police were assisted by Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon, Huntingdon County District Attorney's Office and the Huntingdon County Drug Task Force during the investigation.

Police said Orner was arraigned before District Judge Richard S. Wilt and lodged in the Huntingdon County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
