Pro-life group prepares for Oct. 7 gathering

October 3, 2012
Lewistown Sentinel

To the editor:

"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24

Our Lord said it, why can't we?

Alexis de Tocqueville spoke thusly about America in saying:

"The Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive the one without the other" and "the safeguard of morality is religion, and morality is the best security of law as well as the surest pledge of freedom."

Unfortunately there are political forces in the United States who want to eliminate Christianity and liberty and violently disagree with de Tocqueville. They do not want God in their politics but they will kill innocent ones and allow an abomination of same sex supposed marriage. Apparently those forces reject history or they fall under the evil liar; de Tocqueville must turn in his grave.

We will rejoice on Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. in front of the "old" Courthouse on Monument Square, Lewistown. We will offer our prayers for the conversion of abortionists and those who support them. We will offer prayers for those who endorse gay marriage and most of all we will pray for our freedom of religion.

Oct.7. will be a "day the Lord has made."

All welcome. Pray for your freedom and your children's freedom.
