BELLEVILLE - Beverly Ann (Stuter) Bigelow, 83, of 321 King Lane, Belleville, died at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at her home.
Born Jan. 25, 1930, in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Earl E. and Irene (Stroup) Stuter.
Her husband, Glenn D. Bigelow, who she married Oct. 28, 1950, died on Sept. 25, 1999.
She is survived by: her step-mother, Esther (Hostetler) Stuter, of Belleville; daughter, Gwen A. Hornberger, of Belleville; brother, Dennis E. Stuter and wife, Helen Doreen, of Belleville; sister, Bonnie J. Bigelow and husband, Thomas, of Belleville; grandchildren, Glynn Ann Hornberger and companion, Matthew Spiglemeyer, of State College, and Tyler Hornberger, of Philadelphia; great-granddaughter, Grayson Ann Ruble, of State College; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
She was employed at Harmon's Gulf, in Belleville, for a number of years as their bookkeeper. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and shopping.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Belleville, and a member of the WELCA Association at the church where she served as president for a number of years. Beverly was devoted to her church and her church family. She also belonged to a card club, in Belleville, for over 20 years. She served as a leader for the Brownie Troop, in Belleville, for more than six years.
A memorial service will be held in her memory at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Belleville, with Pastor Paul Kampa officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
