MIFFLINTOWN - Sandra A. Stump, 72, died at 7:03 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
Born April 28, 1940, in Lewistown, the daughter of the late John J. and Helen (Stripay) Zampelli.
She is survived by: her husband, John Z. Stump Jr., of Mifflintown, whom she married Nov. 6 1959; children, the Rev. Robert E. Stump and wife, Glenda, of Bellwood, Daniel Stump and partner, John, of Richfield, and Lori Melius and husband, William, of Lewistown; brother, John Zampelli, of Carlisle; sister, Mrs. Richard (Mary Jo) Berich, of Reedsville; and grandchildren, Tammy, Christopher, and Patrick Stump.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah A. Stump, on March 12, 1990.
Sandra was a 1958 graduate of the Lewistown High School. She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Mifflintown, and the Mifflintown Senior Center.
She enjoyed reading, playing cards, going to the beach and shopping.
She had fulfilled a life long dream of visiting Hawaii. She was a devoted wife and mother.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 109 N. Third St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. James B. Wooster Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Westmister Presbyterian Cemetery.
A viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, at the church.
