Police: Crash injures 1

A firefighter from Granville Fire Co. stands near a severely-damaged 1997 Ford Explorer after a two-vehicle accident, at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday, on state Route 103 North, Granville Township Police Department said. Police said Taylor D. Habbershon, 19, of Lewistown, was traveling south when his vehicle crossed the center lines into the path of a 1999 Saab 93 driven by Katie R. Pearson, 31, of Lewistown. According to the report, the two vehicles collided causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Police said Pearson was transported by Fame EMS to Lewistown Hospital for treatment. She was later released, a nursing supervisor at Lewistown Hospital said. Granville Township Police were also assisted by Junction Fire Co. and Granville Township Fire Police. Police said the investigation remains open.
