BEAVER SPRINGS - Paul W. Kline Sr. of Beaver Springs, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Saturday Sept. 22, 2012, from complications from pneumonia at Evangelical Hospital, in Lewisburg, where he had been a patient since Thursday.
Born in the family home, in Beaver Springs, on July 16, 1928, to Kimber S. "Tip" and Lulu (Haffley) Kline.
He was a 1946 Graduate of Beaver Vocational.

Paul grew up with a head for business starting with a paper route, delivering The Sentinel, and working for neighbor Frank Koch's hatchery. In 1956 P.W. bought Beavertown Block Company from his father, and ran it successfully before passing the reins to his oldest son David. In 1969 he married the former Margaret G. Dippery who survives.
P.W. was a lifelong Phillies and Penn State fan but mostly enjoyed working in the woods cutting firewood, making roads and watching wildlife. He also loved old westerns, Andy Griffith, reading, crosswords and cryptoquips. He was a former member of the Beaver Springs Fire Department, Middleburg Moose, and Beaver Springs Hunting Club, Inc. He was a life member of the Snyder County Historical Society and a current member of the Middlecreek Area Community Center. In addition to being CEO of Beavertown Block, he was president of Kline Realty, Inc. and was the president of Beavertown Cast Stone, which he founded in 1966. He served on the board of directors of Tri-County National Bank, was a member of the Pennsylvania Concrete Masonry Assoc., the National Concrete Masonry Assoc., the Central Susquehanna Builders Assoc., the National Assoc. of Home Builders and the Pennsylvania Builders Assoc.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: three brothers, Harold "Johnny" Kline, Clair Kline, and K.S. "Tip" Kline Jr.; one son, Jeffrey Stallone; and four grandchildren, Michelle Kline, Jaclyn Kline, Michael Smith and Braddon Hackenberg.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: three sisters, Irene Kline and Sarah "Sally" Kline, both of Beaver Springs, and Grace Bair and husband, Jack, of Thompsontown; children, David L. Kline and wife, Deborah, of Beaver Springs, Donald L. Kline, of Middleburg, Debra P. Kline, of Beaver Springs, Dianne J. Hackenberg and husband, Barry, of Beavertown, Dale G. Kline and wife, Lawana, of Beaver Springs, Paul W. "Skip" Kline and wife, Lisa, of Beavertown, and Joseph R. Stallone and wife, Sharon, of Lewistown; 21 grandchildren; 28 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Middlecreek Area Community Center, 67 Elm St., Beaver Springs.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
