BELLEVILLE - Betty J. Heimbaugh, 80, of 162 Rockville Road, Belleville, died at 6:03 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Aug. 4, 1932, in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Guy and Margaret (Donahey) Harmon.
She is survived by husband, Robert C. Heimbaugh, whom she married Oct. 11, 1954.
She is also survived by: brothers, Gary Harmon, and wife, Lois, of New Holland, and Greg Harmon, of Mifflintown; children, Deborah Fultz, of Alabama, Douglas Heimbaugh, of Belleville, LuAnne Walters and husband, Mark, of Belleville, and Lynn Heimbaugh and wife, Sherri, of Belleville; grandchildren, Amy Miller, Melissa Coble, Ashlea Wilson, Kristen Byler, Robert Fultz and Danielle Fidler; great- grandchildren, Austin, Andrew and Aidden Wilson, Taryn and Tatum Miller, Chloe and Annistyn Fultz, Aubrey and Myra Coble, Addison and Alivia Byler and Annelise Fidler.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby, Dennis and Keith Harmon and sister, Pat Rheam.
Betty enjoyed her time as a homemaker, spending time with her grandchildren, watching Penn State football and playing pinochle. She will be sadly missed by her dog, Cindy.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Henderson Funeral Home, in Belleville, with the Rev. Rosalie N. Smith officiating. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Belleville.
