YEAGERTOWN - Ethel G. Tate, 88, of 49 S. Mann Ave. rear, Yeagertown, died at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at her home.
Born April 15, 1924, in Imler, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Ella (Kauffman) Moses.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert B. Tate, on Feb. 20, 1988; her son, Robert W. Tate, on Feb. 17, 2009; her great-granddaughter, Amanda Carolus; five brothers; and two sisters.
Ethel is survived by: her daughter, Karen Blevins and husband, Russ, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Noel Stouffer, Sherri Durst, Shawn Tate and Nathan Tate; and six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Betty Weyant, of Queen.
Ethel was a homemaker and was a member of the Key to Life Church of God in Lewistown.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham, with the Rev. Glenn Smith officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Friday, at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
