Jordan Bauman, of Lewistown, and Adam Slagter, of Austin, Texas, are engaged to be married on June 15, 2013, at the historic Evergreen Museum and Library Mansion in Baltimore, Md.
She is the daughter of Dr. John J. and Kathy W. Bauman, of Lewistown. She is a 2004 graduate of Lewistown Area High School, a 2008 graduate of Penn State University, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She is completing a year residency at the Dental School in Baltimore.
He is the son of Jan and Martin Slagter, of Austin, Texas. He is a 2004 graduate of St. Stephen's Episcopal High School and a 2009 graduate of Penn State University. He is employed as a sales representative at Durrett Sheppard Steel Co. in Baltimore, Md.
