MOUNT UNION - A Mifflintown woman is dead as the result of a crash Tuesday evening, in Shirley Township, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon report.
Deborah Fleming, 57, of Mifflintown, was traveling north on U.S. 522 at about 8:15 p.m., in a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo, when she traveled off the east side of the roadway for unknown reasons, police said. Fleming struck a dirt embankment, causing her vehicle to flip onto its roof, according to police.
Fleming was transported to J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
