McALISTERVILLE - Linda K. Hoffman, 58, of McAlisterville, went into the arms of Jesus, on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at the Lewistown Hospital. She was the daughter of Gladys P. (Goodling) Hoffman, of McAlisterville, and the late Earl R. Hoffman.
Linda was born July 18, 1954, in Evendale. She was a 1973 graduate of East Juniata High School. Linda was formerly employed at the Selinsgrove Center, Richfield Shirt Factory and Empire Kosher. She was currently with Skills of Central Pennsylvania. Linda attended Niemond's Independent Church, Richfield. She loved to read, making crafts and going out to eat. She also loved her 1977 Ford Pinto.
She also is survived by: a brother and sister-in-law, Roger T. and Teresa Hoffman, of Evendale; a brother-in-law, Larry Keisling, of Camp Hill; two nieces, Holly Wagner and her husband, Carl, and Bethany Chilson and her husband, Darren; a nephew, Sean Keisling and his wife, Shannon; a great-niece, Lyra Keisling; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Linda was preceded by a sister, Jeanne Keisling.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Niemond's Independent Church, Route 35, Richfield, with Pastor J. Arthur Mott officiating. Burial will be in Niemond's Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of Linda to a charity of the donor's choosing.
