LEWISTOWN - An autopsy has been completed on a 31-year-old man whose body was discovered Monday evening in his girlfriend's car in the parking lot of the Giant Food store on South Dorcas Street in Lewistown.
In a press release issued by the Lewistown Police Department Thursday, the autopsy findings on Dustin Mountz are pending the results of a toxicology test. No further details of the autopsy have been released.
Lewistown Police Chief William Herkert said the investigation into Mountz's death remains ongoing.
Police said Dustin Mountz was found at 10 p.m. Monday, in the back seat of his girlfriend's 2012 Toyota Prius.
Lewistown Police Department along with Granville Township Police Department and the Mifflin County Coroner's office are investigating the "suspicious death" of Mountz. Also assisting with the investigation are the Pennsylvania State Police and Mifflin County Regional Police.
Mountz's family contacted Granville Township Police Monday to report that Mountz had not been seen in several days, police said.
Police said they are trying to discern where Mountz was between Saturday and Monday.
