From staff reports , Lewistown Sentinel

MILL CREEK - Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon said five members of the Mill Creek Fire Co. were involved in a fire truck accident Monday afternoon, on U.S. 22 in Mill Creek Borough.

A 2000 Pierce Fire Truck from the Mill Creek Fire Co. was traveling east along U.S. 22, when the driver seemed to suffer from a medical emergency and lost control of the fire truck, police said. The truck left the roadway on the right shoulder and hit a sign, then traveled across state Route 655 and drove into the Sip's Title Craft Inc. building.

The driver and front seat passenger were flown to Altoona Hospital, and three passengers were taken to J.C. Blair Memorial Hosipital in Huntingdon, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released at a later date, police said.
