Grateful for help given when cycle went down

July 21, 2012
Lewistown Sentinel

To the editor:

On Friday (July) the 13th I was involved in a motorcycle accident on the Charles Street ramp entering state Route 322.

I would just like to say thank you to all of the emergency personnel for their quick response, in particular the paramedic passing by who stopped and stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. To the two men on motorcycles who stopped and shielded me with your bikes after I landed in the middle of the highway, I offer my deepest gratitude.

In a world where everything is so fast-paced and people are always in such a rush, you took it upon yourselves to make sure that I was safe and out of harm's way.

It's so good to know that there are still goodhearted people left in this world. To all of the people who helped us that day I offer a most heartfelt thank you.
