To the editor:
On behalf of the Juniata FFA Chapter I would like to thank the American Legion of Mifflintown for hosting a hoagie fundraiser for the chapter. The hoagie was a huge success, with over 200 hoagies being sold. All the proceeds from the hoagie sale helped defray costs for students attending the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis during the month of October. Without the American Legion's donating the meat, cheese, bread and facility to make the hoagies, it would not have been possible for 16 members of the Juniata FFA Chapter to attend the National FFA Convention. I want to thank Alisha Huff for organizing the hoagie sale and Stephanie Walters for helping making hoagies. Thank you again for your generous support of the Juniata FFA Chapter.
