Burdge pleads not guilty to rape

MIFFLINTOWN - A Port Royal man charged with raping a now-17-year-old girl over a period of 10 years, pleaded not guilty at a formal arraignment Tuesday in the Juniata County Court of Common Pleas.

Brady Burdge, 39, is charged with numerous counts of rape and other related offenses. He remains free on $25,000 bail. Burdge is represented by Nevin Zimmerman.

Pre-trial issues are scheduled to be settled in early September with jury selection expected to take place on or about Sept. 13.
