Melanie Wrobel, of North Olmsted, Ohio, and Kevin Swartzell, of Reedsville, were married on May 12, 2012, at Westlake United Methodist Church in Westlake, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Claudia Wrobel, of North Olmsted, Ohio. The groom is the son of Bob and Sandy Swartzell, of Reedsville.

Julie Hollo, of Columbus, Ohio, was the maid of honor.

The best man was Andrew Swartzell, of New Haven, Ct., brother of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Emily Pickerel, of Findlay, Ohio, and Kim Wrobel, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride.

Groomsmen were Matt Wrobel, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, and Chris Wrobel, of North Olmsted, Ohio, brothers of the bride.

Pastor Tom Brown performed the ceremony that also included: Annie Kaschube as organist; Chris Wrobel as reader; and Addison and Rachel Mease, cousins of the bride, as program attendants.

A reception followed at Elyria Country Club in Elyria, Ohio.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of North Olmsted High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University. She is employed as an auditor for Marathon Petroleum Co. in Findlay, Ohio.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Indian Valley High School and a 2006 graduate of Penn State University. He is employed as an environmental project engineer with Marathon Petroleum Co. in Findlay, Ohio.

Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, they live in Findlay.
