Katie Elaine Varner, of McAlisterville, and Joseph Merle Hosler, of Port Royal, were united in marriage on April 28, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Mifflintown.
The bride is the daughter of Dean and Jody Varner, of McAlisterville. The groom is the son of John and Linda Hosler, of Port Royal.
Rebecca Brubaker, of McAlisterville, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. The best man was Steve Beverlin, of Mexico.

Bridesmaids were: Jessica Thomas, of Mifflintown, cousin of the bride, and Lacy Beverlin, of Mexico.
The flower girl was Katelyn Fornwalt, of Mifflintown, cousin of the bride.
Groomsmen were Chad Houser, of Spruce Hill, and Adam Brackbill, of Licking Creek.
The ring bearer was Cody Fornwalt, of Mifflintown, cousin of the bride.
Pastor Philip Persing performed the ceremony that also included: Christen Barger as pianist; Rachel Houser as guest book attendant; and Sierra Engle and Landon Engle as bubble attendants.
After the bride took a ride on a 1959 International Cub Loboy atop a trailer, escorted by the groom on a 1953 Farmall Super C, there was a reception at the Central Juniata EMS Building.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2011 graduate of the United States Career Institute. She is employed as a receptionist at Enlighten Psychiatric Services in Lewistown.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Juniata High School. He is employed as a operator/herdsman at Centerview Farm in Mifflintown.
Following a wedding trip to Ocean City, Md., they live in Port Royal.
