Applauds letter writer for expressing his views

July 6, 2012
Lewistown Sentinel

To the editor:

I applaud Mr. Zachary Dunmire's willingness to express his political views. He gives us a clear view of the left's arguments against the right. My only complaints were that his name calling lacked a bit of creativity and that his vitriol was only marginally convincing. In order to be a shining, left-wing star, he's going to have to kick it up a notch in those two areas.

I will say that I was surprised to find out that he was born in 1975. By that age, many folks have outgrown their utopian ideas of free stuff for everyone, gun control, extreme environmentalism and the like. That often happens when young folks figure out that Washington needs an even bigger chunk of their paychecks to advance their agenda. But, I guess to the diehard leftist, it's worth it. Hey, at least that money won't go to that nasty old private sector where it could create jobs and tax revenue.
