LEWISTOWN - Penny A. Wilson, 55, of Chestnut Street, Lewistown, went to be with the Lord at 5:47 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born April 20, 1957, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Patricia (Rager) Romig, of Lewistown, and the late Guy W. Romig. Her former husband, John A. Wilson, preceded her in death on July 1, 1993.
She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Ian Michael Wilson, in 1999.
Surviving are: two sons, Neil H. Wilson and wife, Brandi, of Lewistown, and Ryan D. Wilson and wife, Brandi, of McVeytown; a brother, Robert Romig and wife, Vickie, of Yeagertown; and four grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Alexis and Levi Wilson.
Early in life, she was employed as a nurse's aide at the Malta Home in Granville.
Penny was a member of the Locust Grove Mennonite Church in Belleville.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 S. Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor Max Zook officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Belleville.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday, at the funeral home.
