LEWISTOWN - John L. Knepp, 49, formerly of Lewistown, died on June 9, 2012, in North Dakota.
Born April 29, 1963, in Lewistown, he was the son of Durwood B. Knepp, of McClure, and Jennie Packer, of Cold Springs, Texas.
He is also survived by: his granddaughter, Alexia Trego, of Beavertown; sisters, Tina Hollingsworth, of Texas, and Abby Knepp, of New Berlin; a brother, Marc Johnson, of Texas; his maternal grandmother, Mary Knepp, of Lewistown; and his step-father, Don Packer, of Cold Springs, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kayla Rhodes, and his grandparents, Elrose "Micky" and Erma Knepp and Leroy Knepp.
John attended Lewistown High School and was a truck driver most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Samuel's Church, 480 Samuel's Church Road, McClure, with Pastor Clark Kelsey officiating. Burial will be in McClure Union Cemetery.
