LEWISTOWN - William A. Barr II, 71, of Lewistown, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at his residence in Lewistown.
Born March 23, 1941, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late William K. Barr and Bernice "Benny" (Gorman) Barr.
He was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife, Patty Loht Barr.

Bill is survived by his sister, Nina Searer and husband, Larry, of Lewistown, and Roger G. Barr, and wife, Linda, of Lewistown.
He had two nieces, four nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy and served on the Flag Ship USS Newport News.
He loved his many dogs and is survived by his faithful companion, Zoey.
He was a past member of the Lewistown Elks No. 663 and A&FM 203. Bill and Patty lived most of their lives in Mentor, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at the Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St. in Lewistown, with the Rev. Robert Zorn officiating.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Graveside military services will be conducted by VFW Post 7011.
