LEWISTOWN - Donald R. Bell, 82, a resident of the Locust Grove Retirement Village, and formerly of Lewistown, died at 5:38 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the village.
Born Nov. 8, 1929, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Raymond C. and Esther (Royer) Bell.
Donald is survived by his siblings, Robert L. Bell, Bernice E. Barnham and Ronald C. Bell, all of Lewistown.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard C. Bell.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Early in life he was employed at the American Viscose Corporation and later was a self-employed painter.
He attended the Evangel Baptist Church in Lewistown.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family and under the care of the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
