LEWISTOWN - Sarah "Sally" Sibley, 83, formerly of Lewistown, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 4:10 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born Nov. 15, 1928, in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Richard Roy and Jean (Paul) Heckart.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Sibley, on May 4, 1994.

Surviving are: her children, Beth Lynn and husband, Walter, of Spanaway, Wash., Becky McNally and husband, Joseph, of Winsted, Conn., J. Mark Sibley and wife, Judy, of Portsmouth, Va., Amy Burchfield and husband, Richard, of Port Royal, and Meg Loven, of Raleigh, N.C.; siblings, Jean Kinder, of Indiana, Mary Frances and husband, Byron, of Bethel Park, Suzanne Helm and husband, Ronald, of Apollo, and Henry Heckart, of Denver, Colo.; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Sally was a graduate of Elderton High School, a member of Evangel Baptist Church and a devoted wife and mother.
Music was an important part of Sally's life as God had gifted her with a beautiful voice and an ear for music.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Evangel Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Wireman officiating.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Interment will take place in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
