Four arrested in burglary of Lewis Mart

LEWISTOWN - Lewistown Police Department has arrested four people in connection with a May 31 burglary of the Lewis Mart on South Main Street, Lewistown, according to a report.

Joshua Hockenberry, 19, Garrett Snyder, 19, and Scott Stuck, 21, all of Lewistown, along with a 16-year-old male from Lewistown, were charged with burglary, according to the report.

Police report that at approximately 1 a.m. on May 31, officers were dispatched to a South Main Street car lot in regard to suspicious males around the vehicles. While officers were checking the car lot, the owner of the nearby Lewis Mart convenience store discovered that his business had been burglarized, police said.

Investigations revealed someone had used a rock to break out a front window and steal various items including cigarettes, police said.

Police report that all three adults were arrested and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge and are now being held in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. The juvenile will be facing juvenile court action, police said.
