Participants are encouraged to show spirit by wearing red, white and blue or some other patriotic attire. The fee for race-day registration is $15. For the Juniata RiverFest Raft Regatta, each team must construct and take part in the race with a river-worthy vessel that they can paddle, push or float over the finish line. The Regatta is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the Waterside Campground & RV Park, formerly known as Locust Campground, Juniata River Access. After a 4.7 mile float, the finish line will be at the Juniata River Access by Victory Park. Awards will be given for various raft categories. Raft applications will be accepted until the day of the event, however any teams making a "last-minute" entry are asked to give notice to the Visitors Bureau beforehand.
