McCLURE - Jacqueline J. Knepp, 79, of West Specht Street, passed away on Friday evening, June 22, 2012, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
She was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Thurman H. and Gladys S. (Fasich) McBride. She was married to Jack H. Knepp, who survives.
The joy of Jacqueline's life was her family and she lived for grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel H. and Shelley Knepp, of Paxtonville; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah L. and Carl Sauer, of Middleburg; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Jodi and Tim Mee, of Long Island, N.Y., Zachary and Ally Knepp, of Middleburg, Amanda and Derek Oberlin, of Lewisberry, Ty Knepp, of Paxtonville, Christopher and Carla Sauer, of Middleburg, Jeremy and Jennifer Sauer, of San Ramon, Calif., and Troy and Bethany Sauer, of Mechanicsburg; and 16 great-grandchildren, Emily, Jonathan, Mason, Luke and Alex Mee, Bella and River Knepp, Cole Carter, Chloe, Cali, Gracie, Samuel, Jack, Gunnar and Camryn Sauer, and two more expected in August. and January.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Grace Covenant Community Church, Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in the McClure Union Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
