STAFFORD, Va. - James Ronald Dalby, 84, of Stafford, Va., went to meet his maker and be with his beloved Gracie on Monday, June 18, 2012.
Mr. Dalby was born Nov. 3, 1927, in Yeagertown, to Samuel and Mary Dalby.
He was a veteran of World War II and moved to Virginia in the mid-1960s.
He leaves behind his brother, Ed Dalby, of Milroy, and two sisters, Janet Dillman, of Miffllintown, and Mary Grace Richards, of Florida. He also leaves behind his devoted son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Janet Dalby, of Stafford, Va.; two daughters, Melinda Dalby-Trammell, of Stafford,Va., and Heather Ann Egnor, of Kansas City, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Pkwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
