MIFFLINTOWN - Beulah Ellen (Sourbeck) Schlegel, 80, of Rockville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
Born Jan. 4, 1932, she was the only daughter of the late Herbert and Catherine Sourbeck.
She is survived by: four children, Harold Eugene Schlegel, of Grovetown, Ga., Ellen Diane (Schlegel) Hogle, of Lewistown, and Roy Allen Schlegel and Floyd William Schlegel, both of Mifflintown; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Elsworth Schlegel, Nov. 20, 2008, and one daughter, Debra Ann Schlegel, Jan. 29, 1997.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, watching "Merlin" on TV and working in her stone garden. She loved having her family together and spending time with her dog, Lilly.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Schlegel home on Saturday, June 23, from 2 to 4 p.m., to remember Beulah. There will be no viewing or funeral service, and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
