BELLEFONTE -- The final prosecution witness in Jerry Sandusky's child sex abuse trial is expected to take the stand when court resumes after a short break this morning in Centre County Court.
Defense attorney Karl Rominger argued unsuccessfully earlier this morning to have some charges thrown out, but Judge John Cleland said case law gives prosecution involving children "broad latitudes" in the time frames related to their memories of incidents because children can't be expcted to keep logs and diaries.
Prosecutors said they are withdrawing one count against Sandusky related to one of the victims because his testimony did not meet the particular statute.
Prosecutors indicated they would rest their case after calling their final witness this morning.
