BELLEFONTE -- A 25-year-old man who now lives in Colorado and is about to graduate from Bible college testified today that he remembers "inappropriate" behavior in a shower with Jerry Sandusky that occurred when he was a child.

The man, identified as Victim 6, said he met Sandusky in May 1998. He said Sandusky took him to Holuba Hall on the Penn State University campus to work out.

Sandusky is facing dozens of charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault of a young child, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children. His case is being heard in Centre County Court.

Victim 6 said he remembers that Sandusky suggested they take a shower, even though they weren't sweaty from the workout.

He testified that he tried to get a shower away from Sandusky, but Sandusky called him over closer to him.

Victim 6 said Sandusky began to wash the boy and raised him up to rinse his hair, but everything is black after that in his memory.

The man said he told his mother about the workout and said his hair was wet because he and Sandusky had showered. He said his mother then reported the incident to police.

Victim 6 said he does not remember being touched inappropriately and as a child, he didn't think there was anything wrong with what happened.

He added that as an adult looking back, he said what happened that day was "inappropriate" -- an adult man showering with a little boy.

Upon cross-examination from defense attorney Joe Amendola, Victim 6 said he felt "violated."

Victim 6's testimony was followed by testimony from Ronald Schreffler, a police officer with the university police department, who investigated the mother's complaint along with Jerry Lauro of the Department of Public Welfare.

Schreffler testified that he and Lauro interviewed the boy and talked to Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar, who did not want to bring charges.

Schreffler said he felt the investigation should have been continued.

On cross-examination, Amendola brought up that Victim 6 continued to have contact with Sandusky and his wife over the years. Victim 6 sent Sandusky a Father's Day card in 2009 and a Thanksgiving Day card in 2011, calling Sandusky his friend.
