William F. Ehrenzeller

MIFFLINTOWN - William F. Ehrenzeller, 84, of Mifflintown, died Monday, June 11, 2012, at Bridges at Brookline.

Mr. Ehrenzeller was born in Mifflintown and was the son of the late John H. and Mary Jane (Woodward) Ehrenzeller.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. He retired from Tasty Bakery Co., where he was a salesman.

He was a member of VFW Post 5863, American Legion Post 298, William Snyder Masonic Lodge, Elk's Lodge No. 12, where he was a past exalted ruler, and Allison Hill Lions Club.

Mr. Ehrenzeller was predeceased by his sisters, Catherine Kerchner and Gladys Ehrenzeller.

He is survived by: his wife, Gladys Peck Ehrenzeller, with whom he would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on July 1; one daughter, Pamela (Harry) Smith, of Harrisburg; foster son, Rick (Crystal) Peck, of Mount Holly Springs; one sister, Helen Knox of Reedsville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Hoover Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 6011 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday, at the funeral home.
