MIFFLINTOWN - Gerald J. Sedok, 58, of Mifflintown, native of Rimersburg, passed over to God Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born July 7, 1953, he was a son of Thomas and Rose Lackovic Sedok, both deceased. Surviving are: his wife, Debra Zeigler Sedok, of Mifflintown, formerly of Milroy; brothers, Edward Sedok, Lake Forest, Minn., and Thomas Sedok, of Cadogan; sister, Mrs. Chris (Barbara) Henderson, of East Brady; Two stepchildren, Mrs. David (Jolene) Reid, of Milroy and Joe Brumbaugh, of Belleville; and grandsons, Jesse, Kurtis, Kaden, and Keiran, of Milroy.
He proudly served his country with nine years in the U.S. Army and 13 years in the Active Guard Reserve Program, retiring as a Sgt. First Class in 1997.
Interment was held at St. Eusebius Cemetery near East Brady on Tuesday, May 29, and included full military honors. Any memorials are asked to be made in his name to The Wounded Warriors Project, c/o National Processing Center, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
