MILROY - Gladys A. Ferguson, 80, of 12 Jacks Lane, Milroy, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her residence.
Born Nov. 1, 1931, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Ayres) Baumgardner. Her husband, Jack N. Ferguson, whom she married on June 30, 1948, preceded her in death on June 20, 2006.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jade A. Royer, on April 9, 2008, and 10 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are: her daughter, Francene Armstrong, and husband, Jack L. Armstrong II, of Milroy; a brother, Gary L. Cramer, of Panama City, Fla.; one grandson, Jack L. Armstrong III; and two great-granddaughters, Madelyn A. Royer and Serenity M. Armstrong.
Gladys retired as a quality control inspector from Fisher-Sanyo, in Milroy, after 35 years of service.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, in Salem Cemetery, Siglerville, with Pastor Douglas D. Sabin officiating. There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the care of Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.
