LEWISTOWN - Justin Wortman has been working in restaurants since the age of 15 and is combining his years of dining experience to offer Lewistown the friendliest restaurant in town.
Wortman recently opened Cross Roads Diner on the corner of S. Main Street in downtown Lewistown. The diner is open 24 hours a day and offers a wide variety of meals, all prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients.
"We serve everything from breakfast to prime rib," Wortman said.

Cross Roads Diner offers a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options with friendly customer service. The diner is located at 101 S. Main Street, Lewistown, and is open 24 hours a day.
In fact, the diner offers breakfast all day, including their popular special of two eggs, homefries and toast. The lunch and dinner menus include a variety of soups, salads, subs, pasta and seafood. To date, the most popular choice has been the half-pound specialty burgers.
The diner also offers several dessert options in addition to their regular menu items. Homemade pies are baked fresh daily and Cross Roads is the only restaurant in town to offer ice cream from Myers Dairy in State College, Wortman said.
Aside from the diner's comprehensive menu, Wortman and his staff are dedicated to providing friendly, one-on-one service to each of their customers. Wortman said he knows many customers by name and enjoys getting to know those who dine at the restaurant regularly.
For those who can't stay for a meal, the diner offers take-out on any menu item. Wortman said Cross Roads will also cater parties and events of any size.
