Charles O. ‘Charlie’ Sebolt

MILROY - Charles O. "Charlie" Sebolt, 61, of 4 Chance Lane, Milroy, died at 2:02 p.m. May 25, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born Jan. 17, 1951, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Gene O. and Joyce I. (Sheaffer) Sebolt. His wife, Connie M. (Englert) whom he married Oct. 14, 1972, survives.

Also surviving are: children, Tina Sebolt and husband, Michael Seby, of McClure, Tammy Erb and companion, David Wileman, of McVeytown, and Terrie Rider and husband, Dair, of Lewistown; sisters Joy Sebolt and companion, John Houtz, of Lewistown, Jeannie Hoover and husband, Norman (Reb), of Milroy; brother Kevin Sebolt and companion, Missy Wagner; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with one due in October. Also surviving are a very special dog, Tilley, and cat, Precious, along with many special extended family and friends.

Charlie was preceded in death by a sister, Rickey R. Decker, and three infant granddaughters, Destiny, daughter of Tammy, Ava and Chloe, daughters of Terrie and Dair.

He was a truck driver and a drywaller. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Charles will be greatly missed and forever loved by many.

Charlie served his country during the Vietnam War.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Barr Funeral Home, Inc., 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Karen McCachren officiating. Interment will be in Lind Memorial Cemetery with graveside services by VFW Post 7011.

The viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
